Installing a smart shunt

Just getting into Solar on my RV. Current set up is 3 x 330W panels, Outback 80 MPPT, Victron Multiplus 12/3000/120-50 120 Inverter/ Charger, 2 x 280ah Lithium. I Have the smart dongle installed and functioning. Looking to install my Smart Shunt 500A. After reading the manual I am a bit confused and looking for clarity. “Make sure the negative of all DC loads, inverters, battery chargers, solar charges and other sources are connected after the shunt”.

My question is, after installing the battery negative to the battery minus on the shunt, can I simply use one single cable from “system minus” to the multiplus or do I install all the negatives to the shunt and then a single cable to the multiplus?

Thanks

Perhaps this FAQ and the diagram.in it will be useful.
