We have a Lynx smart bms with 4 lifepo4 batteries connect to the BMS.
The BMS is connected to Cerbo GX.
I writing a sw to read from modbus, able to read the overall battery level and SOC. Was wondering if there are ways to read individual cells data and temperature from each batteries via modbus . I have readup the CCGX-Modbus-TCP-register-list.xlsx but couldn’t any address that can do that.
The battery cell data and temperature is not transmitted to the GX device. The only way to access it is from the battery via Bluetooth to VictronConnect. The SOC and voltage come from the BMS.
Thank you for the reply. Our applications require to feedback the individual cell & temp data as the batteries will be located remotely not easily accessible. Are there other ways to access those data via other means via hardware or bluetooth protocols of the batteries are available where we can connect a embedded PC?
Having searched a bit one solution has been developed by some guys in the Signal K group who have developed a Signal K plugin that reads Victron data over Instant readout Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) messages from supported devices. Smart Lithium batteries are included in the list.
I know nothing about this plugin, I am just a messenger here having seen this referred to previously.
