Incorrect charging - keeps to fixed time - BlueSmart IP22

Hi All,

This is most likely falling more into Support ticket, though wanted to share here and hear feedback if you guys observe similar.

BlueSmart IP22, regardless of voltage/current, finishes charging:

  • 3m 5s - bulk
  • 29m 59s - absorption.

This is regardless of even checking in expert settings, that absorption is set to “adaptive” and not fixed time, where max absorption time is set to 3h.
Same there’s nothing set outside of defaults.

Trying to fix/check how it works, re-bulk has been enabled, hence it comes back to bulk after finishing absorption and shows new charging graph.
Expectation is that:
a) it wouldn’t finish bulk that quickly, as it doesn’t seem to be right approach?
b) it wouldn’t finish absorption as it doesn’t meet parameters to finish it and seems to be a hardcoded 30m (without 1 second).
c) application should not show it as new charge cycle and add to the single one as part of proper accounting.

Do you have similar observations?
Attached is picture showing single charging session (starting from cycle 5 till active one), yet split into number of bars and whilst not visible, each of bulk/absorption time was exactly the same, only the energy/Ah delivered is different as battery is more and more charged. As mentioned, it should not be finishing bulk each time after 3m 5s, same as absorption after 29m 59s, as well as it would be expected that it is a single charge bar.

Happy to hear feedback or maybe a way to fix it.

Thanks!
