I think my smart shunt has a learning disability

I replaced my Renogy shut (which was working fine, but does not talk to a cerbo gx with a “smart shunt” from Victron. However this one seems less smart and somewhat retarded.

Everymorning by 8am, it says I’m back at 100% (I"m not, the batteries are still taking in double digits of current while this is going on. At night, it shows the appropriate AH used but at some point it just resets itself to 100% and it makes no sense. It should count the AH in and when that number balances to 0, it should be back to 100%. But it seems to decide at some point to just mark it as 100% regardless of the SOC.

Anyone else see this problem? How did you solve it?

Why are 3 tags required???

Welcome Mark.

It sounds like you have not adjusted the SmartShunts settings.
Have a look at this post. Shunt / battery monitor jumping to 100%
