I need a new battery that my inverter is compatible with

MultiPlus-Il 48/3000/35-50 / Inversor Cargador de Onda Pura /Entrada 48 Vcc / Salida 2400 W 120 Vca 60 Hz, This is my inverter model, but unfortunately the battery is broken. I need to purchase a new battery, but the battery manufacturer requires me to provide the communication protocol between the inverter and the battery. What do I need? Can the manufacturer provide me with these protocols?
Thank you. Looking forward to your reply

You can use any 15s or 16s LFP battery, or any 48V lead battery. I would go with a battery with a non-proprietary BMS. Many batteries use a JK Inverter BMS or a Seplos BMS, both use the Victron CAN protocol. See NKON.nl for batteries at a fair price without compromises at quality. At that prices even DIY is not worth the effort.

Most important for me is an active balancer. Never buy an LFP battery with a passive balncer!

There is none with Victron, since with Victron the communication is done between battery and GX device, and then again from GX device to the inverter.

Between GX and Battery it would be Canbus BMS at 250kbit or 500kbit depending on the setting in the GX

The battery manufacturer can request directly from Victron support for what is needed. (As in what registers to use.) There are a few documents ‘in the wild’ if you google it.

Shows the cables used. They can specify the pins on their side though.

Can is not always necessary of the battery has its own cloud link or monitoring. And the system is manually programmable.

Thank you so much for your reply. It was very helpful in solving my problem. Have a nice day!
