I am installing a lithium 24v system using Victron products, Multiplus II 2X. My question is when setting up the 24v to 12v dc converter powering up my rv 12v dc system, the 12v fuse box is currently powered by the onboard converter/charger for the existing 12v system which charged the old lead acid batteries. Currently the converter operates the 12v system and and was charging the old batteries. Should I leave it as is, doing so would still send 12v back to the Orion 24/12 dc dc converter and would also work when plugged into shore power as normal. The 12v fuse box has a direct line from the batteries and a direct line from the existing converter powering the fuse box. If I leave as is, would the Orion 24/12 converter back feed a charge to the new batteries?
Remove the original 12V converter. The 70A Orion replaces that.
Thanks for the quick answer. I was hoping that would be the answer
