How to reduce absorption time on a MultiPlus-II 48/3000/35-50 120V

I have a MultiPlus-II 48/3000/35-50 120V inverter/charger that I am using with 2 24V LiFePO4 batteries tied together is series for my 48V system. Things run great but during the absorption phase, I run into problems balancing my 2 batteries. I cannot see a way to reduce the absorption time in the MultiPlus-II settings to less than 1 hour. Is this possible? I am using firmware version 492 on the MultiPlus. Thx for any guidance this group can provide!

Not sure how a shorter absorption would help there.
Ultimately you will need and external balancer there.
Do you have it on adaptive and battery safe or fixed?
I sometimes find the adpative works better.

Hi LX- This is a strange issue…I’m using Epoch batteries and my voltage issues only show up during the Absorption phase. (scratching my head on this). I can only find one manufacturer, in China, of a battery balancer for my 48V system made up of 2 24V batteries. (There are lots for 4x12V systems). That balancer does not do as good a job as I had hoped. I’ve been using Adaptive for the charge curve, but that still extends the absorption time too far.
