How to reduce 5V threshold on smartsolar?

Hello, since I installed lithium batteries, my SmartSolar 100/30 no longer starts up on its own in the morning.
My battery voltage is higher than before (13.2–13.3 V), so the 5 V difference required for the charger to start is only reached later in the morning.
In the morning, my panel voltage is often around 17–17.5 V.
If I do an ON/OFF on the controller, charging starts normally.
Is there a way to reduce this 5 V threshold so that charging starts earlier?
Thanks in advance for your feedback!

The 5V threshold is not a user configurable setting. If you have more than one panel in parallel swap to series configuration to boost the voltage.

Thank you for your reply.
If I connect two panels in series and one of them is partially shaded, that will affect the performance of both panels, right?

It depends if your panels have bypass diodes or not, bypass diodes allow the unshaded portions to still work. Older or cheaper panels may not have these.

The reason for the 5v start up is explained here. Once it has started charging, it will track down almost to battery voltage +1vdc

My panels are sunpower 100w back contact, I think they don’t have diodes but I will try and I will see the difference.

Thanks

I understand that but when I switch Off/ switch On the charger, I manage to charge at 3 or 4 A even if the threshold was 4V only.
