How to display Shunt Battery Voltage in VRM?

My system consists of 2 VE bus device and 4 smartshunts. They all connected to my negative busbar so can all read the battery voltage.

The Voltage reading of my 4 shunts are pretty consistent while that of the VE bus device is a bit off. So my preference is for the voltage of the one of my shunts to display in VRM rather than that of the VE bus device. However, in remote console\System Setup\Battery monitor, I can only see and select the VE bus device as source of for monitor for voltage in VRM. None of my shunts show up there which is really surprising as I can see all shunts in device list of remote console, they all display battery voltage when I access them under device list.

Does anyone know how I can get the battery voltage of my shunts to become show up and be selectable option in battery monitor for display in VRM? Many thanks.

Hi
Do you have one of your Smartshunts (or all) connected to a GX device like in the Manual Section 3.6?

Thanks Dave,
3 of them are installed between my solar chargers and the batteries so configured as DC Meters\Solar chargers using VE direct cables. One of them is installed between my battery and Load as in 3.6 of the manual. Using a VE direct to usb cable and configured as a battery monitor.

Ok thanks,

You cant display the shunts configured as DC Meters\Solar chargers in VRM where you want it but the one configured as below should be visible.

One of them is installed between my battery and Load as in 3.6 of the manual. Using a VE direct to usb cable and configured as a battery monitor.

You should see it here section 8.2.4

in remote consol from VRM.

If you can’t see it I would check connections/cables.

Thanks Dave for helping me resolve this. Problem was that I thought I had one configured as battery monitor but I still had it set up with the others as a solar charger. I changed it back to battery monitor. And that resolved it as you indicated in your last post. Very grateful for helping me resolve this.
