Hi,
I have one 3P System Victron Multiplus I 24/3000/70 with Cerbo and Battery System. I have also one 3P System Victron Multiplus II 48/8000/110-100 with Cerbo and Battery System and MPPT Chargers. I have no Grid. How can i combine them to work.
I would prefer Main System AC2 OUT → AC IN Secondary system to charge when SOC is over 95% i can do this with Relais overs VEConfig.
Secondary System AC OUT → AC In Primary system when load is high.
How can i do this, do i need to change Grid codes?
Thank you
Hi its not supported, but have been done before, make shure the bigger system is feeding the smaller
you can not connect ac out from the smaller system back to the input of the bigger system!!
The smaller can feedback on its ac input to the ac out of the bigger, like a regular pv inverter
thx for the fast answer. How would the wireing be?
Grid > ac in 8kw system ac out > ac in 3kw system
Both with there own battery system and gx/cerbo
mhh ok. As i mention i have no Grid. My plan was like.
BIG System over AC2 with with programmable relay, when the system is at 95% SOC, then switch on AC2 and feed the small system which only consists of 3x Victron MP I and storage
When night comes and there is no sun, I wanted the small system to support the large one via the AC IN
is this possible
Ah i see missed that, but as i already said, no you cant feedback to ac in
Let the small system feed to “grid” in your case this is the ac out on the big system the smaller is connected to
So connected like this
8kw ac out 2 > 3kw ac in, thats all, alltough i dint know if the dont know the multiplus 1 one can feedback to on ac in
I tried but when AC-out 2 is on, Big System shuts down die to overload, and i dont know why
