Hello,
After upgrading from Venus OS v3.63 to v3.64, I’ve noticed a clear issue with Grid Setpoint accuracy. My system no longer exports the configured power to the grid precisely.
Problem:
- When setting a Grid Setpoint (e.g. -2000 W), the system only exports ~1000–1500 W, consistently below target.
- This behavior was not present in v3.63, where Grid Setpoint was accurate within ~50 W.
- I confirmed this by downgrading back to 3.63, where the issue disappears.
Additional info:
- The system uses ESS with battery and solar PV.
- There are no other limits active (SoC min/max, charge current limits, etc.).
- Tested with different setpoint values (from -200 W to -3000 W).
- The discrepancy remains constant and appears to be a PID regulation issue or command delay.
- Changelog for v3.64 doesn’t mention any related changes.
Suggestion:
Please verify if any changes in 3.64 affected PID tuning or export behavior. A regression test against 3.63 may reveal what caused this deviation.
Happy to provide logs or testing results if needed.
Thank you!
