Generator auto start functionality not available

HI all,
Got a strange one with one of our off grid systems that has been running fine for the last 6 years.
The client contacted me and reported the generator had not started and thus the battery ran down and system shut down.
This system consists of a quattro 15k, CCGX, 2x mppt 250/100 and byd lithium batteries.
Once the system was back up and running, I logged into vrm and checked generator settings in remote console.
What I found was the auto start functionality was disabled and the button is greyed out as per attached screenshot.
I have not seen this before.
The issue arose on the 30th Nov.
The client has not changed anything in settings.
I have noticed the ccgx had auto updated on the 26th and then again on the 28th.
I rolled back the firmware to the previous version but this made no difference.
I am still unable to enable generator auto start functionality.
The relay is set for generator start/stop.
I even tried changing the relay function to something else and back again to no avail.
Rebooted ccgx a number of times as well.

Has anyone encountered this issue?
Is there something I have missed?

This hasn’t happened to any of our other systems (we have 43 systems at present)

edit: forgot to add vrm screenshot

I have experienced this problem as well and it seems to be after I performed an update on my GX controller which also coincided with a website update on VRM. I cannot seem to find a way around it at all.

You may need to flash it manually from and sd or usb to the older firmware. Rollbacks don’t always work quite right.
Auto update should really be disabled.
