I’m looking for some help determining if the wiring diagram I came up with makes sense.
I bought a 5th wheel RV with an existing Victron solar system already installed. Unfortunately, the previous owner didn’t have a wiring diagram.
I tried to trace as many of the wires as I could. This is what I have so far. I believe this is a Split Phase system where L1 and L2 coming from the grid, each has its own Inverter.
Does what I have shown in the schematic make sense?
There is one components that I’m not sure where it goes, the 24-12/70 DC-DC converter circled in blue in the lower left corner of the schematic. I believe it supplies the 12VDC side of the breaker panel, but I can’t trace the wires to see where they go.
Can anyone offer ideas of how this may be connected to the system? There are 3 cables attached to it. See pictures below.
My best guess is that the positive 18-32V input & the negative cable, come from the Lynx Distributor and the positive 10-15V output goes to the 12VDC side of the breaker panel, but I’m not sure. I only see one negative cable connected to the Converter, which I assume is coming from the Lynx Distributor. Shouldn’t there be a second negative cable going to the 12VDC side of the breaker panel as well? Could the negative cable for the 12VDC side of the breaker panel come directly from the Lynx Distributor?
I do see a black negative cable all by itself connected to the Lynx, without being paired with a positive red cable. I’ll see if I can trace it to see where it goes.
The single black cable is attached on the post circled in yellow. Does it make sense that this is the ground going to the 12DC side of the breaker panel?
I have the time and the desire to produce something like that although my system is very simple BUT where do I get the pictures of the Victron and other bits and pieces and I do have Libre Office mostly for the WP facilities
