Galvanic isolated transformer Victron?

Hello friends, I have a question: do Victron inverters have an internal galvanically isolated transformer? I would appreciate it if you could provide me with more information on this matter, since the electric company in my country has requested this specification.

Hello @HenryFazS , at least my MultiPlus II has a toroidal transformer. This is, from my understanding, a galvanic isolation.

@HenryFazS the multiplus and the Quattro are not galvanically isolated. They have transfer switches that engage input to output and in any case Neutral and Ground are not isolated.

Summing up: :innocent:

Grid to battery is galvanic isolated.
AC-In to AC-Out is not isolated.

Thanks @Yachtbird and @alexpescaru . The energy provider requirement seems to be specifically an “isolated transformator”. Maybe there is some room for interpretation regarding the real purpose behind :slightly_smiling_face:

The transformators in an Victron inverter (at least Multi/Quattro) are galvanically isolated.

An Isolation transformer is a different device.
