Dear community,
i have an issue with my Victron system. I am using 3x MultiPlus II 48V/15000 in a three-phase system connected to the grid with a VM-3P75CT meter. Both the grid connection and all loads are on AC Input.
The frequencyVariationOccurred flag appears regularly, and every time it happens, the inverter power is reduced. This occurs approximately every 5–10 minutes.
I have already tried different grid code settings, including running without a grid code, with LOM enabled, and with LOM disabled, but the behavior stays the same.
I also noticed that there is sometimes a frequency difference between AC Input and AC Output when this happens, although only by one measurement step of 0.26 Hz. Normally the system runs at around 50.10 Hz, but when the event occurs it jumps to around 50.36 Hz.
The AC Input frequency is displayed with only 0.26 Hz resolution. I do not think this is the direct cause of the problem, but it may be related or useful for troubleshooting.
Does anyone have experience with this behavior?
-
What exactly does the
frequencyVariationOccurredflag detect? -
Which conditions trigger it?
-
Which device is actually measuring the frequency used for this flag: the MultiPlus units or the VM-3P75CT meter?
-
Could there be another setting that affects this behavior?
The inverter power reduction repeats every few minutes.
- Normal
- Occurred
Best regards
Pavlja
