First solar system

can i use 6 100 watt solar panels with my 150/35 victron smart charger?

this will depend on how you configure the solar modules, but generally this should be no problem.
The best solution depends on your system battery voltage : 12/24/48V, and the solar panel parameters.
100W modules are likely to have a Voc (open circuit voltage) of 20 - 22V, so if you connect them all in series, then you have an open circuit voltage of 132V, within the capability of the charger. If your system voltage is 12v nominal, then 600W should give 50A, but the charger will limit this to 35A. However, it will also give this under slightly reduced light levels, so this could be a benefit. At 24V system voltage, the nominal current would be ~25A from 600W, so the charger would not be the limiting factor.
Do not exceed the maximum input voltage of the charger, or the maximum input current. The charger will need an input voltage of 5V above the current battery voltage to start, so at least 2 modules should be wired in series. This allows you to arrange the system as 6S, 3S2P, or 2S3P. (S= modules in series, P= modules in parallel.). of these the 6S will be most efficient provided the max voltage criteria is met.

Have a look at the Victron MPPT calculator.
