Hi! I have a EVCS attached to multiplus 2, that works fairly well (for the most part…, except the random GX disconnect and this MAJOR issue).
I use it to charge 2 cars - Renault Megane e-tech and Mazda MX-30. For the renault it works perfectly, but for the mazda - charge stops and then resumes when it reaches the set charge % (I have both cars setup to charge to 80% in AC).
I have tried resetting and playing with anything i could think of in the charging station settings, but it always resumes charging after it reaches the threshold.
Previously I was using the Fronius charger and I never had this issue, nor do I have it at public charging stations (or the AC adapter that comes with the car), so I don’t think it’s something wrong with the car.
Any ideas what to try next? Or is this a known issue?
I don’t want to get to the point where the battery explodes or I have to rely on the BMS for basic safety
