My Renault ZOE went into safe mode and displayed the message “Battery charging impossible” because it was “overloaded” by several consecutive stop-start cycles, following commands from the EVCS, due to passing clouds and low available power at the end of the day around 6 PM.
I also confirm that there were no other loads consumming power besides the base load.
In this case, I think we should stop trying to restart the charging, or draw power from the grid to supplement the insufficient available excess power, without, however, completely draining the PylonTech battery (down to a predefined low limit).
- EVCS v2.02 and Cerbo GX v3.55
- Allow battery/grid power for auto mode: Disabled
- Allow low excess solar power for auto mode: Disabled
only if ‘Allow battery/grid power for auto mode’ activated
Is there a solution to avoid this main default on my Renault ZOE EV ?
