where the possibility of reading the current one was lost - session charging energy in NODE RED ?

we recently made changes to this interface to split total and session energy in separate entities and it seems that this is not yet reflected in Node-RED. So thanks for pointing this out, I will forward this to a colleague.
Meanwhile, you should be able to use the Custom Input node instead to access the session energy value.
