ESS ignores Active SOC Limit

Hello,

I have a 3-phase Victron system with the following components:

3 Multi RS Multi RS Solar 48/6000/100-450/100
4 Pylontech US5000-1C
1 EV Charging Station NS
18 panels solar Enphase with Modbus TCP option

The ‘Optimized with BatteryLife’ setting is currently is on, since there hasn’t been enough solar energy to fully charge the batteries for several days, the ‘Active SOC Limit’ is currently set to 60% (see screenshot). However, when the electric car is charged, this setting is ignored, and the SOC value drops to 35%, as set in the EV Charger.

I also notice that with the ‘Active SOC Limit’ set to 60%, the batteries continue to supply power at a decreasing rate, so the idle state is well below 60%.

Can anyone explain why this is happening? Is this related to the Multi RS firmware version 1.26?

The posted image seems to be cropped. What is further up your system?

The solar energy comes from an Enphase solution with 18 solar panels, the Enphase solution is read out via the (new) Modbus TCP/IP option :smiley: , here is the complete picture;
