I have a 3 phase DESS installation with 3xMPII 5kVa, RS450-100 and cerbo gx.
On the AC out side i have ac coupled micro inverters to 3x16A breakers (8kWp east west) one of each phase. I «see» their production in VRM with a grid negative value, but no accurate data being presented to be of any use naturally.
I also have a string inverter (13.5kWp) but that is connected before the MPIIs (between meter and MPII so i don’t have more solar coming in than the inverters can handle)
I want to install some energy meters, and looking at the VM-3P75CT to use over ethernet so I can get my AC solar production into VRM and hopefully give my DESS installation better data to work with
Questions:
-The 3 phase meter I assume will work with the micro inverters, one CT on each of the 3 breaker legs to measure their production?
-My string inverter that is connected before my MPII system, if i set up a meter there, the data will be useful in VRM and help my ESS system perform better even if it is connected before thr MPIIs?
