Dear Community,
I’m having a GX Device running Beta V.3.60~24 connected through CAN to an Inverter RS Smart Solar as well as a lynx shunt. The second CAN channel on the GX is connected to a Batrium BMS (WatchMon Core). I did not realize that for proper BMS operation I would need also a Batrium shunt connected to the Watchmon.
Batrium Service was so kind and send me guide on how to use the Victron Shunt with the Batrium WatchMon, meaning the GX device is sending the Lynx shunt values through CAN back to the WatchMon.
The issue I’m having is the remote access (I’m not at home, have no physical access to my installation).
- GX is connected through LAN to a router which is down.
- GX is also connected to my home wifi, meaning I can access VRM and the Remote Console.
For making the GX sending the data to the WatchMon through CAN, I need to access the console (root access).
→ is it possible for me to ssh into the " remote support IP" ? (I can ssh, but root pw failes to accept).
→ According to Batriums guide, I need to run a command on the console. They also give a hint that this " command" will be implemented into a new FW revision as a GUI button. Any idea when this will be realized? (Then I could just make the FW update and activate through the GUI without the need of SSH).
