Ekrano issue (no wifi adapter connected) and supported USB adapters

Hello,

I’ve seen several posts related to Ekrano “No wi-fi adapter connected” issue and no conclusion.

My Ekrano GX lost it’s wifi adapter around a month ago, I’ve opened a support ticket through Victron, which redirected to a supplier/distributor and they were supposed to answer me back in 7 days. 10 days later, no answer.

I wonder how people have solved this issue and if Victron honors it’s support and 5 year warranty to such an expensive piece of hardware that promisses connectivity.

Can anyone share what you have done to solve this? (besides plugging a network cable and leaving the problem without a solution).

Support and warranty from Victron is supplied through your authorized distributor or place of purchase, as described in the Support pages Need support? - Victron Energy

Supported USB adapters are described in the user and installation manual: 7. Internet connectivity

Never had an issue with this.

Are you using an external adapter?
If not is the unit running hot?

Can you link to these please. I can see ones related to Pi’s but not Ekrano.
Did you buy from a reputable dealer or online?
If the query isn’t resolved, you can mail your regional manager, their contact details are on the main Victron site.
