Ekrano cut-out question

So I haven’t gotten my ekrano yet I’ve been installing everything else. But now I’m getting to where I need to get one ordered.

I’m putting this in my camper that only has like 2” walls so I’m going to have to build a little box/frame to make sure I have the depth requirements.

The cut out jogs out a little in the center on the sides. My question is does the ekrano have a little lip around it that somewhat covers your cut when you slide it into the hole? Assuming it does so if your cut isn’t exact it covers it up. Or does the cut haveto be exact?

Looking at https://www.victronenergy.com/upload/documents/DimensionDrawing-Ekrano-GX.pdf, there is a small lip around the device. Looking at the dimensions, this seems to be about 6mm max. Best if your cutout is according to the diagram, +0 -0.5mm If you do make a slip, then a small pad could be made to cover any slips. The small outward '‘jog’ in the 2 vertical sides is ~1mm deep. If you are uncertain about your cutting, best to cut smaller and then use a rasp to finish the hole to the line.

Thank you. Exactly what I was looking for.

@Justin1 Would this maybe save the work Ekrano GX Wall Mount | Victron Energy?

That would be an option as well. Thank you
