Dear Victron Community,
I am requesting assistance with an EasySolar-II GX 24/3000/70-32 that is no longer starting correctly.
Product information:
- Model: EasySolar-II GX 24/3000/70-32
- Serial Number: HQ2118WDKHX|
- Battery system: 24V lead-acid bank (4 × 12V 150Ah configured as 2S2P)
Current symptoms:
- Inverter does not start.
- No relay click is heard during startup.
- AC output remains 0V.
- Output frequency is not displayed.
- VE.Bus Monitor reports “L1 not in phase”.
- GX display remains operational.
- Battery voltage is approximately 25.3V.
Diagnostics performed:
- AC input disconnected.
- AC output disconnected.
- Generator disconnected.
- AC-coupled PV inverter disconnected.
- Full power reset performed.
- Assistants removed for testing.
- MK3-USB communication verified.
- VEConfigure successfully connects and reads model, serial number, and settings.
- VE.Bus Monitor shows:
-
Udc = 25.3V
-
UOut = 0V
-
Freq Out = —
-
L1 not in phase
- Firmware check reports system is up to date.
Additional observation:
VictronConnect displays the message:
“VE.Bus Error 11 reporting requires minimum VE.Bus firmware version 454.”
Questions:
1. Does this indicate a known firmware or configuration issue?
2. Is there a way to determine the actual VE.Bus error code?
3. Could these symptoms indicate a relay test failure, synchronization fault, or internal hardware fault?
4. Are there additional diagnostic procedures recommended before the unit is sent for service?
I have attached screenshots from VEConfigure, VE.Bus Monitor, and VictronConnect.
Thank you for your assistance.
Kind regards,
Harijs
