Ich habe einen EasySolar 3000 GX. Jetzt habe ich einen Multiplus 2 gekauft und will diesen statt des EasySolar als WE einsetzen. Der EasySolar soll weiterhin das GX - System bereitstellen und nur als Lader fungieren. Beide Geräte haben die Software Version 560. Wenn ich die beiden Geräte via Patchkabel verbinde, bekomme ich jedoch immer die Fehlermeldung “Firmware inkompatibel”. Was tun?
Ist denn der neue Multi eventuell größer … ein 5000er vielleicht ?
Ja, es ist ein Multiplus 2 4k5. Das EasySolar ist ein 3000er. Aber ich möchte die beiden ja gar nicht koppeln, sondern nur das GX-Device und das MPPT des EasySolar weiter nutzen. der Wechselrichter ist abgeschaltet, das EasySolar steht auf “Charger only”.
OK, ich habe einen Hinweis bekommen von einem User aus dem englischsprachigen Bereich. Das funktioniert so nicht. Ich muss ein zweites GX kaufen, den neuen Multiplus an den anschließen. Das BMS können die sich teilen via USB-MK3.

The GX has a software version, it needs to be current. At least one of these is behind, perhaps document all the versionage so we can better assist.
You also cannot connect two systems to any GX, the second needs to be attached via a USB mk3 adapter.
Then each inverter should be on supported, ideally the same versions.
The limitations and requirements are documented in the GX manual (you may need to use the venus or cerbo doc depending on age).
Thanks for your prompt answer. The version of the gx device is 3.72 which should be the lastest. I don’t understand the second point. My layout is as follows: The GX device is built into the EasySolar (EasySolar 3000GX). The second unit is a MultiPlus-II 4k5. I have connected this to the EasySolar via VE.Bus using a patch cable. The EasySolar is set to “Charger-only” mode, and neither the AC-In nor the AC-Out on the EasySolar are connected. So what’s the solution? Should i buy a second Cerbo GX device and install this as a second installation (no connection via VE.Bus)?
A GX is designed for one vebus inverter, or a configured set of parallel or multiphase systems. These are still one logical system.
In your case you cannot connect the second via vebus patch cables, a second vebus interface needs to be added by using a mk3 usb device.

Du brauchst kein 2tes GX, einer der beiden muss mit USB auf VE.Bus Adater an das gleiche GX.
Ja, aber der neue Multiplus soll das ESS machen und das geht nicht, wenn er “nur” via USB-MK3 Adapter angeschlossen ist. Jedenfalls habe ich das so verstanden.
Vom EasySolar soll nur noch das GX Gerät genutzt werden?
Jein, ich dachte mir in meiner Naivität, ich will mehr Leistung für mein ESS-System, also kaufe ich mir einen leistungsfähigeren Multiplus und schließe ihn via VE.Bus an. Das Gx - Device und MPPT habe ich ja schon im EasySolar verbaut. Den EasySolar verbinde ich mit einer Einpeisesteckdose für den Generator und konfiguriere ihn entsprechend. Geht wohl nicht. Der EasySolar muss wohl komplett getrennt werden.
Es sollte funktionieren, wenn du den EasySolar vorsichtig öffnest und da die interne VE.Bus Verbindung um GX Gerät zum MultiPlus (der im EasySolar sitzt) trennst.
Dann schließt du den neuen 4k5 dort intern an das GX Gerät an.
Zum Schluss von den normalen VE.Bus Anschlüssen des EasySolar über einen MK3 an den USB vom GX Gerät.
Ja Danke für den Tip, habe ich mir auch schon überlegt. Aber funktioniert der EasySolar dann noch als Lader für die Pylontechs (nur im Notfall: Generatoreinspeisung bei Blackout + keine Sonne)? Sollte eigentlich, oder?
Der EasySolar ist einfach ein MultiPlus + MPPT + GX Gerät in einem Gehäuse.
Wenn du die Datenverbindungen auftrennst und die Programmierung anpasst, kann da auch jedes Gerät alleine arbeiten.
