Easysolar II GX manual generator start

Hello all , first let me explain a little about my previous situation and then the problem i have now.

Couple years ago i had a greencell inverter with builtin mppt and batterycharger, but it had no monitoring functionality so i installed a cerbo s gx and a smartshunt. As backup i run a gas powered generator and i could manually switch that on in the remoteconsole on the generator start/stop page. All good.

Now i recently upgraded to a easysolar ii gx but this has a complete different remoteconsole and i cant find the generator menu :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Can anyone point me the way to this genset menu because i need to be able to manually start the generator . I dont want to use it fully automated.

The internal GX device does not feature a relay output, and because of that the generator control menu is invisible on these units.

The relay K1 belongs to the base multiplus that is the easysolar unit, you can use that as a generator start/stop, but i dont think theres a way to control that only remotely through VRM.

Theres also the option to use a GX IO extender, but since ive never used one myself im not sure if its outputs are visible under VRM. The manual only shows it being used with NodeRed
