My easy solar 2gx is usually connected to WiFi for vrm portal viewing via my android mobile phone wifi hotspot.
Phone died and replaced with a new android phone, installed vrm portal app and switched on hotspot.
The easy solar appears not to be getting online, just shows data from 6 days ago, the time my old phone got run over! Have tried hotspot and Bluetooth, I’ve removed hotspot security, switched easy solar off and on, uninstalled vrm app and re installed it but phone and easy solar still not talking.
Other devices can use the phones hotspot. Unsure if it’s a phone or easy solar issue.
Has anyone any ideas what to do?

You can access your GX via bluetooth and Victron Connect if the GX has bt and enabled, you have the password.

I will look at this in over the weekend and see if I can connect via Bluetooth. I’ll read the manual suggested in the evenings prior.
I’ll leave this topic open for now though.

I read the manual you linked but I got from it Bluetooth is for initial set up.
The system has been up and running for several months. I tried Bluetooth connection anyway but that doesn’t let me access remote console via vrm. I need to access remote console to check battery state. I also can’t switch inverter off without remote console.
I have put on my WiFi hotspot on my phone but still no connection with easy solar and vrm.
I’m watching batteries drain as getting less sun now but can’t switch off inverter when not required.
