Dynamic ESS Spain now supports PVPC price for Red Electrica

Dynamic ESS now supports PVPC prices for different regions of Spain for customers of Red Eléctrica.

To try it out, simply select ‘Spain’ as your country and ‘Red Eléctrica’ as your provider. Select where in Spain you reside in the ‘Bidding zone’ dropdown.

Your price formula will now take Red Eléctrica’s base price as ‘P’. Add or subtract any taxes and or costs related to your sell or buy energy contract.

Any feedback on this feature is welcome  !

Hello,

Thank you very much for this improvement, it’s a really useful feature. I would like to know if you have any plans to add indexed prices for Spain as part of the available price options in the future.

Thanks again for your hard work!

Hello Barbara.

I can’t select the country (I explained it in Can't switch to dynamic prices on DESS - #2 by Swapper ), who can help me?

There is something wrong with DESS and Spain prices: Video

Hola @Swapper ,

Thank you for mentioning that Red Electrica has disappeared from the list of Spanish providers. I’ll check with the team where it went.

Kind regards,

Barbara

Hello Barbara.

The problem isn’t limited to the Spanish supplier, Red Electrica. Depending on the country selection made previously, sometimes none of the Spanish suppliers appear.

Once a Spanish supplier is selected for energy purchases, if dynamic prices are also selected for energy sales, the graph doesn’t display the sales prices (it shows the same sales and purchase prices).

It seems that there is a problem obtaining prices from a supplier that affects the ability to select suppliers or the correct display of dynamic purchase and sale prices.

Beest Regards.

Hi @Swapper ,

You should be able to select Red Electrica as an energy provider in Dynamic ESS again!

Hi @Barbara

I can select Red Electrica as energy provider, but the sell price is all day the same as the buy price, this is not correct:

Hi,

In the DESS configuration you can adjust the price formula for both. If you for instance need to pay 9% tax over selling your energy, you can make the formula Px1.09.

Hi.

I’m not sure I understand you.

When I select “Red Electrica” as the buy prices supplier:

the graph shows these buy prices:

which is the PVPC rate, which can be viewed on the esios website (green line)

So, the Red Electrica buy prices shown by Victron DESS are the PVPC rate buy prices, without a formula.

But when I active the sell prices (with same configuration as buy prices), DESS does not show the same sell prices as the blue line of my last capture , why?,a formula would not be needed since the sell prices are shown on ESIOS page (like the buy prices)

Best Regards.
