One of my DESS is behaving strange and is not following the forecast. Currently prices are low and it should - according to the forecast - buy from the grid. However instead of doing that it sells to the grid and stores very little of its solar power to the battery. Earlier today when prices were high it did sell correctly to the grid.
Even if I set the minimum SOC to 100% it does not import power from the grid at all or only with a only 1/3 of the max rate. I’ve checked my DESS settings and reinstalled the firmware on my Cerbo but without any luck.
I had something similar on the Multi RS. I had to upgrade the Cerbo to the latest beta firmware, not it is running normal again. Maybe check if you have newer firmware available.
I’ve had something similar, our multiplus 2 with DESS suddenly decided to keep grid feed in at a constant 800 watt 2 days ago instead of applying DESS algorithm. It did this from 2am till 8 am after which it suddenly resumed charging. Today it does not seem to charge the batteries at full speed allthough the price is lowest. Seems to be some issues in general.
After days of troubleshooting I found the issue. For some reason the maximum charge current was limited at the DVCC settings. I have no clue how and when this settings was activated. After disabling it, the batteries are now charging at full power.
However the issue with the PV Inverter not showing a total output is not fixed.
