Dynamic ESS: on/off switch issues in v3.60?

v3.54 ran without errors, since yesterday’s update to v3.60 the following error:

1. activation of the DESS controls:
   

   

2. control is now displayed. Deactivate DESS with it:
   

   

3. however, this also incorrectly deactivates the display of the DESS control again. However, this should remain active unaffected by this:
   

   

4. in fact, the control is now no longer visible:
   

   

So it isn’t possible to switch DESS off/on just with the control button.
