Does anyone know how to add a Skylla-i to my {Cerbo GX}–{Wakespeed 500}–{Rec BMS} VE.Can network?
The way I read the documentation, it should be possible.
I would think that I can have the Rec-Bms ↔ Cerbo GX ↔ WakeSpeed-500 ↔ Skylla-i control panel on the VE.Can network with termination on the Rec-Bms and a blue VE RJ-45 terminator on the Skylla-i control board?
Depends on what communication speed the other components need.
The Skylla “talks” at VE.Can with 250kbi/s.
The BMS properly needs 500kbit/s.
Both the Wakespeed 500 alternator regulator and the REC-BMS talk on the VE.Can bus at 250kbs.
I tried the following connection:.
Rec-BMS ↔ Cerbo ↔ WS500 ↔ Skylla control panel ↔ Skylla-i charger (with terminator)
This hooked up the Skylla-i control panel and saw right alarm light and the error, “nc” in the display.
