Here in the UK, Octopus Energy have a few different smart time of use tariffs, specifically “Intelligent Octopus Go” for EV owners (and people with solar and batteries too)
This tariff is controlled remotely by Octopus Energy to charge our EVs when the grid is at its cheapest, mainly overnight, but sometimes some time slots during the day too.
There is quite an extensive list of compatible EV chargers on the Octopus Intelligent Go website, but Victron is not on the list.
This tariff is one of the cheapest for home EV charging in the UK, only costing 7p per kWh during the off peak period.
Victron, can you kindly look into getting your EVCS compatible please?
