Direct ve port connection between 250VA inverter and Smart Solar MPPT

Hi All,

I have a Smart Solar MPPT that has an onboard bluetooth connection. If i connect my little 250VA inverter directly to the MPPT (ve direct to ve direct) will this allow me to see the data from my inverter? Or should i just get a bluetooth dongle for it?

Apologies if this is an obvious question, I couldn’t find any solid information on how this ecosystem works. Thanks in advance.

That’s not how it works.
The VE.direct connection is only for a connection to a host device (GX device, PC/Laptop via USB or BT dongle).

This should also be mentioned in the manual.
