Hi,
Is there any setting for DESS to forces it to respect the “AC Power setpoint” when it had entered inactive mode?
Current situation it’s unable to adhere to the “AC power setpoint” rule. On the consumption side, the electricity is drawn from the grid rather than the batteries. Especially during the evening hours.
Thanks in advance!
Which venus version are you on? There was indeed a bug around for a short time, where dess kept idling the battery, when going inactive while idling.
Eventually you are running the affected version of venus?
Firmware version on all my devices is v3.75.
Hi,
I have update my screenshot and that is what I want to achieve.
Can some help?
Thanks.
It is a bit unclear what your expectation is?
I’ve looked at your system, at the given day:
- When DESS is disabled (upto 7), the system followed the setpoint, as it was doing regular ESS.
- When you enabled DESS at 7, the scheduler concluded to sell your abundant battery content down to your minimum soc for best prices in the morning.
That is all as intended, when you allow battery2grid-selling to happen. If you don’t want that at all, then you should configure DESS with a 24/7 battery2grid restriction, in the advanced tab of the Battery-Settings.
My expectation is during the inactief periode, the system (DESS) have to respect the “AC Power setpoint” like ESS does. This means my power consumption have to deliver from the solar panels or from the batteries.
See my screenshot. I would like the system DESS behaved as ESS.
It will be perfect if you can release it in the future version.
Thanks jou all for replying the messages!
