I am working on the same problem. I received my smartmeter in december from Westnetz. They did not install a single “Steuerbox” until now. I requestet to change in §14a Modul 3 and want to get a “Steuerbox” with 4 potential free contact that will go into a shelly I4 DC and then into my openhab smarthome. I will not need the “reduce command” because it will be in the most expensive hour (tibber) when my consumption a nearly zero. My Daikin heatpump runs all day but on battery in expensive hours. I will have to be able to reduce my solaredge as well and that works via modbus without any hardware.
You’ve got something mixed up. The control box (module 1) with the potential-free contacts does not give you a control recommendation to optimise your energy consumption. You alone are responsible for the EMS control to benefit from the variable grid charges (module 3).
The control box only gives you the signal to reduce the energy consumption of the registered large consumers (heat pump, battery storage, wallbox) if a blackout is otherwise imminent, and this rarely or never happens.

I am aware of that. The box with fnn 2 bit sends commands for reduced consumption or reduced pv feed in. Since i use Tibber the optimized consumption is already programmed. I will have to change the hourly costs with the grid fees then.

Wird ja erst im Herbst interessant für die meisten, aber eine erste Entwicklung wäre schon schön zu sehen..

Ich denke dafür Bedarf es keine Api. Die Arbeit einmal im quartal drei Peise für drei Tageszeiten einzugeben mache ich mir gerne, bei Preisreduzierungen von 6-8 cent je kwh

Richtig. Das funktioniert nicht, ich hoffe es bleibt bei noch nicht. Ich habe etwas Hoffnung weil es nicht nur D betrifft. Auch andere Europäische Nachbarn haben mittlerweile solche zeitabhängigen Netzentgelte. Da sind wir denke ich wieder bei einem der Hauptprobleme, nämlich soviele unterschiedliche Regelungen.
Sollte es bis zum Spätsommer nicht laufen, wäre das DESS für mich unbrauchbar, weil diese Netzkosten für mich ein entscheidender Faktor sind. Dann wird es für mich Zeit mich um eine Alternative Steuerung umzusehen
