I have a Victron multi rs and set up in trade mode,
However the last days there was a lot of sun and the dess decided to decrease the solar panels, there were no negative prices. When I changed it to green mode the solar panels went back to normal en started producing again.
why are the solar panels scaled down and buying from the grid when there is free energy from the solar panels.
I run the multi rs on v1.29
The cerbo runs on3.75.
On 3.75, DESS does not control solar production.
You most likely had DESS idling the battery, and without the battery taking a good portion of solar power away, your inverters were unable to feedin all, thus throttling was required?
Second option may be a feedin restriction on a full battery for example - then, solar production is also curtailed by the system to obey the feedin restriction. I think this would apply for a exactly 0 sell price as well.
