Deep Sea DSE MK 7410 II with CAN Bus Communication Diesel Generator

I have a case of hybrid generator that communication is build between Deep Sea MK 7410 II & Cerbo GX for a 3 phase Quattro system. The communication between DSE and generator’s ECU is using CAN bus while DSE with Cerbo GX is using Ethernet. In this case, Cerbo GX is unable to read the generator state (start/stop/warm up), it will stay in unknown. Generator’s engine RPM, temperature, generator output voltage was able to read. Manual starting of the generator also can be done. Previously when the communication is not using CAN bus, Cerbo GX reads that details with no problem. Is there any way to let Cerbo GX read the state of the generator?

I have similar problems with the Deep Sea 7410 MK II and a very similar setup – DSE connecting to engine ECU over CAN and Modbus over ethernet to the Cerbo GX.

Generator measurements, such water temperature oil pressure and output voltages, all readable when the gen-set is running. Gen-set battery voltage also readable when the gen-set is stationary.

However, in the top level ‘Device List’ the gen-set is listed as “Not connected” which clearly isn’t correct. When you select the gen-set Device, the ‘Genset status’ is always shown as “Unknown”, genset running or stationary.

If you press the Emergency Stop Button on the gen-set the ‘Genset error code’ is reported as “Emergency stop” (which is correct) and the ‘Genset error code’ is shown as “#2 Generator in fault condition”. However, if the genset is Not In Auto ‘Genset error code’ is “No error” and the ‘Control error code’ is “#1 Remote switch control disabled”. Should the ‘Genset error code’ not show something like “Not In Auto”?
