Cyrix-Li-Charge 230A to cut off MPPT's?

Hi

Today I use non-inverting cables from BMS to shut down several mppt’s (Smartsolar 75/15) if there is something wrong when charging my batteries (2x200Ah NG). But these cables are occupying the VE.Direct ports on the MPPT’s and now I’m thinking of adding a Cerbo Gx to my system and want to connect the MPPT’s. Can I use a Cyrix-Li-Charge (controlled by BMS) to protect the batteries or will I destroy the MPPT’s to cut the charge output without using the remote control?

BMS VE.Direct port conundrum

Hi all, I just upgraded to LiFePO4 batteries and installed a VE.Bus NG BMS. I also have a solar panels run by a SmartSolar controller, which is currently connected to my CerboGX via the SmartSolar’s VE.Direct port. In order for the BMS to control my solar charger (i.e. shut it down in the event of battery overcharging or overheating) I need to connect the BMS to the SmartSolar controller’s single VE.Direct port; this means disconnecting it from the CerboGX and losing all visibility of my sola…

However need to update my smallBMS NG to the larger version with VE.Bus.
