Has anyone used node red to control additional digital outputs via MODBUS TCP communication? I’m stumped on how to send commands to the IO device. My NodeRED nodes show ‘connected’ but my switching payload data is potentially incorrect.
Also, is it necessary to embed username and password authentication into the nodes? (…which nodes??)
