Hi, occasionally my VRM DESS consumption forecast appears to be way too low, or even missing data. I estimate that this happens every 3-5wks. We always have some base consumption, but the tomorrow’s forecast shows hours with no data/consumption at all:
I do not get any reports of VM-3P75CT connection being broken. I have not reset the forecast for a long long time. Consumption is properly logged and DESS typically works great, see yesterday for example:
Let me know if there is anything I can do to assist with further debugging. When this forecast issue happens, DESS also often fails to work optimally, so it would be great to resolve this. Thank you.
Edit: I am using 3.70~61 firmware on MP2 48/5000 GX
Well, it does show some miniscule amount of solar, which is really nonexistent at this time of the year. But it does not show grid consumption which should be at least 350-450Wh for all hours, always. So I don’t think it’s a rounding issue.
Today’s forecast is even more broken. It’s also an expensive day, so it would have been good to have DESS working. With this low forecast, it did not charge the battery, so I am left with zero charge for the expensive hours. I will reset the forecast & solar data to see if that helps.
