Hello,
I am having a little bit of trouble with my DESS system due to the consumption forecast not working and I hope you can lead me on the right path to solving this issue.
My system consists of these components:
3x Multiplus 48/3000, Firmware 522, connected via AC IN
Cerbo GX, Firmware v3.50~31 (Note: Problem existed on latest prod version before switching to Beta-FW)
2x BasenGreen Battery 15.2 kWh. 16S
Elgris Zero Energy Meter, simulating EM24 via Modbus TCP
SMA Tripower 10kW with 12 kW in PV panels
All components seem to “talk” to each other normally, I can see the battery SOC, temps, power at grid, past and current consumption, power at the SMA inverter, …
In the beginning, both solar forecast and consumption forecast worked (with obv limited precision in a new system).
I then experienced weird readings of “battery to consumption”, where maybe 1/3 of past hours showed implausible values of up 60kWh in one hour. Note: no power from grid was shown, only battery to consumption. I then selected the MPII as battery monior in the “System Setup” screen in the remote console intead of the BMS, which remedied that issue.
So all past and current values I now see in VRM are consistent and correct.
Now, a few days later, I continue seeing the forecast for solar production and the target SOC for the DESS, but no forecast for consumption. The forecast for Tibber prices are also there. Of course this hinders the DESS from functioning properly.
Multiple restarts as well as the upgrade to the latest beta firmware didn’t help, as well as switching DESS on and off and on again.
Do you have any ideas what I could do from here on?
Thanks & greetings from southern Germany,
Chris
P.S.: I know the “hide forecast” button exists, that isn’t the problem
