Hi there,
I have three Quattro inverters configured in a three-phase mode. I am planning to use the “Input Current Limit Control Assistant” feature. The reason for this is that I already have a changeover switch installed for grid/generator switching on the AC1 power side, which was left in place when the inverters were installed. As a result, AC2 is not wired, and when in generator mode, I need to lower the input current.
I have a few questions and would appreciate some guidance.
- My plan is to use an auxiliary output from the changeover switch, wired to an auxiliary input on the inverters. When the contact is open, the auxiliary input should be high, and when closed, it should be low. Is this setup correct?
- Since I have three inverters set up in a three-phase configuration, do I need to set up the rule on all three inverters and wire the auxiliary input to all three of them to limit the input current on each one? And if so, do I need separate contacts, or can I use the same one for all three auxiliary inputs?
In step 2 of the procedure (see attached pic) I would use the second option and consequently set the current for low/high aux input accordingly.
I have not been able to find answers to the above in the manuals or posts, so I would greatly appreciate support from those with direct knowledge rather than links to generic literature.
Thank for helping
