Communication to Cerbo GX Mk 2 - VE direct cabling or Bluetooth connections

My system design has 3 x AC current monitoring (REL300100000), 3 x Bluetooth MPPT 15/75, 2 x Bluetooth Smart Shunt, Bluetooth device on Inverter. Do I need to hardwire Cerbo GX (BPP900451100) to all of these or can I use bluetooth?

Thanks

Phil

It would be best to first fully read the cerbo manual, these answers are all in there.
The cerbo is a wired only device, it only uses bluetooth for it’s initial setup and then only supports sensors like ruuvi etc via bluetooth.

Bluetooth is for small networks without a cerbo and wired/bluetooth should not be mixed.

Yes hardwiring is needed with cerbo for those. Would suggest getting a duppa 4 port vedirect hub to save some money versus using USB to ve direct cables once your three ve direct ports on your cerbo are filled up. They also have pretty cheap ve direct cables:

For your et112 meters, need to use usb to rs485 cables wired per the instruction manual, you may need a USB hub for additional ports - cerbo 1 and S models the usb port closest to hdmi port is for power only not data, cerbo 2 all three ports are fully functional.

Your inverter needs to be connected via standard ethernet cable to one of the cerbo ve bus ports
