Hi. I have a Multiplus-II and two 5kw batteries. I’m currently charging the batteries using the grid. I noticed that Ac input is almost 2000w but the battery only seems to be getting 877w
If you have two independent BMS … probably only one is integrated in the GX … therefore only half the power …
hence the question of what batteries you are using
What I think you may be seeing is the charging value for only 1 battery, 2 x 877W is 1754W so agrees with your input 1990W with about 10% losses.
This is sometimes seen with unsupported batteries, or batteries where the master / slave is not set up, or where there is a comms problem or if the BMSs are not interlinked.
Each battery has it’s own BMS, so you could very well be right. Thanks
The batteries are from China called ‘Improve’. I do have the master / slave dip switches set up, but it is probably reporting the charge for 1 battery only as you said. Thanks.
Do you have communication via your GX and can you see the batteries in the remote console?
