My generator is not accepted by multiplus II because i am connected to the grid (to dump extra PV) and the generator is producing 53 hz. (50 is normal in the EU). It is accepted when i set the grid to “None”.
Is there anything i could damage if i change the grid code settings to 53 hz for “normal connect”, “reconnect after trip” and “p(f) funtionality” in my Multiplus II?
I know i then do not comply with the norm, but since multiplus allways follow the grid what could go wrong?
I could then connect the generatpr to the multi, set generator to on in the cerbo (to make the multi stop backfeeding PV to the grid (at that moment the generator)).
Hope someone can help me.
If anyone is still following this:
Since i got no solution i just tried it, and it works.
But you need the grid-change password for this and you are working outside official grid settings for your country. But this only impacks you when you are pushing energy into the grid, because now you are capable to go higher then official country grid specs. Also your aquipment will get this higher voltage.
In my case no problem because my grid all on its own is often way out of grid-specs (Lowest i have been is 187 volt and highest is 167.5 volt).
When multi has to connect to the grid, it will always follow grid. So no fireworks there. Funny thing is that the multi now also stay’s connected to the grid when voltage realy gets low (not often but sometimes. And when this happens multi would disconnect from the grid and start inverting).
Hope this helps anyone
