Hi all, I would like to ask if someone sucessfully managed to use three phase system with 3x MultiPlus-II 48V/5000VA that can connect either to the grid, or, when necessary, to the three phase generator. So far I have either built systems with Quattros (where this is much easier since they have two independently configurable AC inputs) or offgrid systems with Multiplus-II (where AC input is used exclusively for generator and therefore the gridcode settings and LOM can be adjusted such that generator works the best). Of course external device for safe switching between grid and generator on the input of multis is necessary, but my question is more like about the settings (in cerbo and also in multis themselves). My experience is, that no matter how professional and expensive the generator is, usually the system wont connect to it with the same configuration as for the grid. Usually it is necessary to change the grid code and sometimes even turn off the LOM, which in case of a generator might be ok(ish) but in case of a grid it is probably not. So, is there way to somehow let automatically Multiplus know that there is a generator on the input instead of a grid? The only way I know is to set it in cerbo console settings, which can be automatized by NodeRed. What does this option exactly do? What if it is not enough to convince multipluses to connect to generator? Is there another way to change automatically some other settings? As far as I know, it is not possible to automatically turn off LOM or change the grid code, right? Thank you for the answers.
Most of these problems have been solved with v556, so pls install this first, then check if e erything works.
Thank you, now Im just “preparing for the storm” because one of my clients is planing to add generator to the above described system, so when I get to it, I will try. So what issues exactly were solved with fw v556?
Read the version log yourself pls
