Cerbo is on V3.72.
Hi
When running the upgrade to V3.73, everything looks OK and I get the message of successfully installing the firmware.
…but after a reboot the Firmware is still showing V3.72
I have tried to update to the latest beta ( currently V3.80~25).
…but as before, after reboot the CerboGX reports firmware V3.72
any ideas here?

I would leave it as it is (never change a running system) or I would try to install the FW via an USB stick.
I am usually on the beta releases.
I am not afraid of bugs and try to help in any way I can.

Have you checked for disk free space?
Do you have any other tools or mods loaded on the GX?
Image type “Normal”
I found some error at the TCP server:
I do not believe this to be related, but who knows

Did you run the installer image recently? Likely you need to format the sdcard and not only remove the files on it.
I only tried to install from the GUI.
via the “Press to update…”
There is an empty SD card installed which I will now eject.
Nope, that did not change anything
After successful install and reboot: still on 3.72

So you physically removed that sdcard?

Please remove the SD-card first and reboot before updating.
Good morning
1st I did a reboot with the EJECTED SD card, but NOT removed.
Result as before, NO update of the OS
2nd I did as recommended, I physically removed the SD card and rebooted -
RESULT, it rebooted into V3.80~25 - without installing
I guess it somehow found the new image from a previous install attempt.
However, the firmware upgrade worked
Thanks for helping and best regards
