Cerbo DVCC 24v with Orion XS 1400 charging a 12v battery

I have a 24v lithium house bank and a 12v service battery. The 24v BMS is connected to the cerbo over CAN and the cerbo is setup to use DVCC based on the BMS communications.

It’s working great and my solar chargers are all following DVCC.

What would happen if I connect the v.e. direct cables for the Orion’s into the cerbo? Will DVCC take over their charging? I’m sure the cerbo won’t try to set them to a 24v lithium charge profile, right?

I only want to see the status of the Orion’s but I can do that through BT if using v.e. direct messes with things.

You then would need to set their role to “Charges another battery” which will, in the eyes of the cerbo, turn the Orion into a load.
