I have followed the guide for setting superuser access but will not work.
General > Access & Security > Access Level > User & Installer , key in password ZZZ .. then nothing , i cannot “drag the Menu List down” , if i try through VRM portal i cant find any menu level where i can change to super user.
i tried both new and old GUI , made no difference , where is “the menu list “ to drag down ?
It is Cerbo GX ll and 5.0 touchscreen
If I remember correctly, that password is for returning to normal user and not for superuser.
Open the old gui on a computer webbrowser and navigate to the Settings > General page and press and hold the right arrow button on your physical keyboard for several seconds while the Access Level option is highlighted but not selected.
not sure why but its working now that the “keyboard” is visible , that didnt exist earlier so its a mystery.
solved though …
In my case it only worked with the classic UI and I needed to use Windows CMD instead of Putty to gain access SSH root@1xx.x.x.x
